INDIGO WATER SYSTEMS

Faq's

The Indigo is a triple carbon filtration tank containing three different carbon beds, as well as an antimicrobial insert to prevent organism growth. Using pressure and gravity water is filtered upwards towards the main line into the property.

Toxin removal is our primary concern. Our systems work to reduce or remove Chlorine, Chloramine, Pharmaceuticals, Pesticides, PFAs, VOCs, Heavy Metals and other toxins. To do this we ensure that each system contains enough of the filtration material required to get the job done, and only the highest quality materials are used.

The Indigo system and the add-ons we offer, such as RO systems and water softeners, will vary in size and price depending on the size of the home or building and the occupants, number of bathrooms and so on. For home applications the typical cost is $4,000-$8,000 for a custom Indigo System. For commercial applications, such as country clubs, assisted living centers or restaurants the price is fully dependent on the needs of the facility and varies from five figures to six figures.

A typical installation will take just a few hours. A larger custom install can take 1-2 days.

Every system is different. The largest difference we see between what we offer and what we see in the marketplace is quantity and quality of activated carbon (which filters the water), or softeners sold as filters under the moniker “treatment.” There are many options in the marketplace and for some with a lower budget the removal of Chlorine is all that matters – and many systems will do this and do this well, including ours. Where our system goes beyond what we have tested of our competitors is the removal of PFA’s, Pharmaceuticals, Pesticides, Heavy Metals, VOCs and several other key toxins. For this reason our system is recommended by several local doctors and nutritionists to their patients.

The Indigo works without power and will provide filtered water even in the event of a power outage. The only time we recommend taking precaution in drinking water from our system is a power outage in which the county or city facility has ordered a boil order due to a shut down of the water treatment plant. The level of toxins found in untreated water from the city, where their plant has shut down, exceeds nearly any onsite system that can be found.

Fluoride Removal is possible through an add on we sell. Ask about it during your onsite visit.

Low maintenance is a key selling point of every Indigo Water System. Under sink RO filters and some pre-filters should be changed at regular intervals and we offer services to come out and do this for you. After every install we go over any maintenance and provide direction. It is very minimal.

Currently our systems are sold mainly to residents of Pinellas County and Tampa Bay. Service Areas can be seen in the footer of our website. As such we customize the system on site during the consultation and sales process and help every customer get exactly what they need. As we grow we expect to freight ship systems around the country. If you’re interested in having a system designed for your home and you live outside our service area please contact us, we may be able to help.
