Finally, a Chlorine-Free Pool System
The Indigo Pool System is different – it’s not a chlorine pool and it’s not a salt pool. It’s a freshwater pool. Rather than using harsh chemicals to kill bacteria our pool system technology prevents bacteria from growing in the first place. Babies, the elderly, anyone with asthma or lung issues, and even just the typical adult, will enjoy swimming in chlorine-free pool system.
These pool systems can be maintained less expensively than a salt or chlorine pools and are a wonderful and arguably healthier alternative to the traditional chlorine swimming pool.
A common misconception is that salt pools are better because they don’t use chlorine. This simply isn’t true – a salt pool uses electrolysis (electricity) to turn the salt into chlorine within the water. It’s still chlorine. With our system this simply isn’t the case. It’s truly chlorine free.

How does the pool system work?
Once we’ve determined the right size system for your home we provide a custom solution that involves the replacement of your pool filter and the installation of the Indigo Pool System.
These pool systems include the filter housing and the filtration media which goes inside of it. This filtration media is manufactured in Switzerland – it’s a fine micro powder which comes from highly processed and crushed glass call AFM. This is a similar concept to sand filters, which some homes have, but is far more effective for reasons that are a bit technical. Basically, it does a better job catching and destroying bacteria. And the filters are 2x+ the size of a typical pool filter (which are often undersized.)
Included in this system is a copper plate system. Copper is anti-microbial and having the water pass through the filtration media and the copper prevents microbes from growing and kills them when it does. Rather than the bacteria being destroyed or prevented in the pool you swim in, it is handled where the equipment itself sits, and in the filter.
